a VERY distant perspective

Episodes 1 & 2 recorded

Recent: Episode 1 (Scrabble pilot) and Episode 2 (pottery) both recorded and in post-production. Format proven: groups learn skills together while DJ plays in background—conversation flows naturally from shared activity. Pilot featured Scrabble game with disco house/R&B (Oct 2025)

Podcast that dissolves the interview format. Groups learn a skill together while a DJ plays in the background. Episode 1 featured a Scrabble game, Episode 2 explores pottery, creating authentic conversation through shared creative experiences. Conversation flows from the task to what actually moves us.

Recorded with Zoom F1 lavalier mics, 4K Sony AX53, multicam setup

Next: Finishing post-production on Episodes 1 & 2, recording Episode 3, publishing initial batch of episodes.

Collaborate: Looking for audio/visual recording expertise and experience leaders who want to share a skill.

Percent to AGI

Environment design phase

Recent: Concept defined, defining AGI capabilities framework (Oct 2025)

A living calculator tracking humanity's progress toward artificial general intelligence. Based on a framework of AGI capabilities, it lets anyone submit their own estimation of how close we are, creating a crowd-sourced prediction market for the most important technological milestone ahead. Research summaries make the latest AGI developments accessible to everyone.

Planning: Next.js, interactive calculator, social sharing features

Next: Building AGI capability framework, designing calculator interface, creating research distillation pipeline

Collaborate: Looking for AI researchers and technical writers interested in making AGI research accessible.

Pain Points

Phase 1: Social graph mapping

Recent: Research proposal complete, partnership discussions with Merge Fund (Oct 2025)

A crowdfunding platform for public pain points. People post real problems they face, others contribute solutions or funding to solve them collectively. Phase 1 starts with mapping social connections through podcast episodes, showing how people relate through shared struggles. This proof of concept will demonstrate the connection architecture before scaling to the full crowdfunding platform.

Planning: Social graph visualization, podcast integration, community matching algorithms, eventually crowdfunding infrastructure

Next: Building podcast episode connection mapper to prove the social graph concept, then expanding to crowdfunding platform

Collaborate: Looking for graph database expertise, social platform builders, and anyone interested in democratizing problem-solving through crowdfunded solutions.
